Non-urgent advice: Having Problems?

Repeat Prescriptions

A repeat prescription may be ordered either by returning your repeat slip and placing in the box in the foyer or by ordering online via the link at the bottom of this page.

If you are not registered for online services please ask at reception for details of how to register.

If you are registered for online services and the system prevents you from ordering your medication on line, please telephone the surgery as sometimes this can be resolved on the telephone.

Alternatively you may post your request with a stamped self-addressed envelope. Please ensure you have adequate medication at home.

Prescriptions will be ready to collect 24 -48 hours after ordering, depending on your chemist. With effect from 1st October 2018 all prescriptions will be required to be collected from your pharmacist or by your pharmacist.

Electronic Prescribing Service

This practice is set up for the electronic prescription service.

This means that for most patients we can send your prescription to your chosen chemist directly saving you having to come down to the surgery.

To get your prescription sent to your chosen pharmacy you will have to ask reception to sign up.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, clinical pharmacist, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
